The software

asserty is licensed under the GNU AGPL-3.0. Running it — for yourself, inside your company, against whatever applications you like — asks nothing of you. The licence text governs the software; this page governs the hosted service.

Pre-1.0

asserty has not reached 1.0. The api contract, the database schema and the runner protocol still change between releases. The hosted service is offered as-is, with no service level commitment and no guarantee that data will survive a schema change. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything you cannot recreate.

Your responsibilities

• Only point asserty at applications you are authorised to test.
• Keep runner tokens and provider keys confidential, and rotate them if exposed.
• Use test accounts rather than real users' credentials in test users.
• Do not use the service to attack, overload or gain access to systems that are not yours.

What we may do

We may change or discontinue features while the product is pre-1.0, and we may suspend an account that is being used in breach of the above. Where we can give notice, we will.

No warranty

The service is provided without warranty of any kind. An agent driving a browser can be wrong: a passing run is evidence, not proof, and asserty is not a substitute for your own judgement about whether software is fit to ship.
